The Rite of Passage
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Android
You play as Mìjo, a teenager from the Shimusogo tribe. You start in the middle of the Mifuno desert and you must complete your initiation rite to become a full member of the tribe.
This walking simulator will ask you to find the Dépa, the physical form of the spirit of the tribe and to follow it through the desert to weave a strong bond with it.
This game – which is the first one I develop – was developed as part of the Game Design Studio course at the MSc Digital Media Design at the University of Edinburgh.
We had the restriction of not using external resources or plugins except for audio.
It is inspired, as requested by the brief, by Fedran online novels (https://www.fedran.com).

Very Interesting game, Took me a few minutes to understand the controls but they work great. Be sure to bring some water because you will find yourself in the Desert. I did not live too long so I will have to go back and try again, Be careful out there my friends.
